The final section of this unit focuses on communication and media literacy. Speaking and listening skills, along with a skill like penmanship, are necessary for elementary students to learn basic communication skills in order to develop fluency and comfort level in both formal and informal settings. Media literacy connects the curriculum of the classroom with the curriculum of the living room.
